Who am I?

What am I up to?

Sierra Hudson is a student and gigging musician based in New York City and Miami, FL. This Fall, she is attending NYU Steinhardt for a master’s in Jazz Double Bass Performance in New York City. Last summer, she was the double bass and electric bass professor at Camp Encore/Coda in Sweden, Maine, teaching classical, jazz, and contemporary ensembles.

This past Spring at the Frost School of Music, she performed with the Frost Symphony Orchestra, the Rock Symphonic Orchestra, Seek the Source: Christian McBride Jazz ensemble, the Frost Wind Ensemble, Frost Symphonic Winds, and the Jazz Vocal 1 Ensemble. She was also playing in miscellaneous, non-Frost-related gigs in the Miami area.
